Experience

Most recently employed with Paperless Post since 2021, I also have experience in sign design and production, home decor design with Primitives by Kathy, as well as the nonprofit sector through my 2 year service with Americorps at Youth Mentoring Partnership.

At Paperless Post.

Under daily the supervision of Kellie DiChiara and the art direction of Mariya Pilipenko, I created a variety of designs in collaboration with partners such as Marimekko, Liberty, and Peter Rabbit (among many others).

Featured in promotional e-mail, and one of the highest grossing Easter cards to date. In collaboration with Peter Rabbit, individual illustrations are selected from their asset library and then arranged strategically to fit our standard card ratio and typesetting is applied.

Paperless Post “Stampy Days”

Stampy Days is a company initiative to give employees dedicated time for personal/side projects for the benefit of the company, and company-wide share out of those ideas. Each year there is a Stampy Week, kinda like a speed run for big special projects. Each year I participate, and this last year I was a team of 1!

I proposed selecting some of our higher-performing card designs and freshening them up, giving them new type treatments and short animation as well to utilize the Flyer product’s unique animation aspect. The two I chose for my animation mock-ups were personal favorites from the Halloween collection, and because I could clearly visualize what I wanted to animate on them and how I could do it.

This project was a great opportunity to show my leadership skills and my willingness to take initiative to dive right into a project on my own. It is also a good showcase of my typesetting and Adobe After Effects/animation skills.

Illustration and portrait work

While I love design and production, I also have a passion for illustration, specializing in both traditional (pen and ink, colored pencil) and digital mediums (Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator). Portraits are created on cotton paper with Prismacolor colored pencils for their lightfast, archival qualities for longevity.
